This handbook was originally written and copyrighted by Dr. Susan Goldhor in 1976, incorporating materials from the Women in Cell Biology Newsletter and from discussions at a series of workshops on the academic job market held at Yale University in 1974 and 1976. Drs. Mary Clutter and Virginia Walbot contributed significantly to the original handbook.
