Membrane Protein Explorer (MPEx), a tool for exploring the topology and other features of membrane proteins by means of hydropathy plots based upon thermodynamic principles. MPEx can also be installed on your computer as a Web Start application. A useful adjunct to MPEx is MPtopo, a database of Membrane Protein topology accessible from MPEx.
